Our Current Projects

With ATEE's ongoing mission to help Liberia access and benefit from their natural resources in a responsible, sustainable manner, there are constantly new projects being added to our forestry platform.  We have signed a large Third-Party Management Agreement to harvest over 121,000 acres and will then add another forest from a neighboring community interested in working with us.  Word is spreading fast in Liberia that ATEE is a trusted, capable, and reliable company that desires to provide a mutually beneficial service to communities across Liberia.

ATEE has signed a Forestry Management Contract with the Liberian Forestry Development Authority (FDA) and community forest owners in Grand Bassa County District 3B. This 121,000-acre forest will grant ATEE the rights to harvest timber in the region for 15 years, with an option to extend the contract for an additional 15 years. ATEE is also well-positioned to secure a second forest of similar size in 2026.

The first region, located near the Port of Buchanan, is primed to begin logging operations. ATEE has engaged with international off-takers who are both interested in and financially capable of entering long-term contracts to purchase a significant portion of ATEE’s harvestable timber.

The second forest has been the result of over five years of relationship building and negotiations. It contains a variety of rare tropical hardwoods and other highly sought-after species, making it especially valuable in the global marketplace.

In addition, other community forest owners have approached ATEE with offers to grant exclusive rights to harvest timber from their lands.
