ATEE is building a world class forestry management and logging company based in Liberia. Liberia currently has nearly 40% of all the remaining old growth forests in all of West Africa, and together with the Liberian government and our unique relationship with community forest leaders, we are successfully positioned to be a sustainable and successful forestry company.
ATEE is a qualified logging company through the Liberian Forestry Development Authority (FDA). We are currently one of several logging companies authorized to perform logging activities in Liberia following the moratorium restructuring of the Liberian logging industry in 2015.
On September 23, 2021, we received our Certificate of Pre-Qualification for Competitive Bidding for Logging Contracts. This has allowed us to secure key areas for our forestry projects and efforts.
Together with our strategic partners, we anticipate having access to over 121,000 acres of forests for logging activities commencing in mid 2025.
